Tareq Abboushi
Fusing sounds and rhythms that take root in Afro-Cuban, Western Classical, Jazz, Funk, Gypsy and Arabic music, Tareq Abboushi, Musician and Founder of Shusmo, and his band members bring new and exciting definition to the International Music genre. Music started off as an interest for him, then became a passion, eventually a course of study in college, which then turned into a part-time job and finally and more recently evolved into a full-time career. Giving up the security of a corporate day job is no easy task, but Abboushi’s dedication, passion and talent makes this transition look like a piece of cake. Shusmo’s sounds are internationally recognized and their reach and momentum is growing exponentially.
